Revamp the dimly lit function room in a style which would comfortably enable it to hold weddings, functions, conferences & shows.
Starting with the floor we designed a wool carpet using a colour palette of beige, gold, fawn and black in a large pattern which gave the impression of a larger room but more importantly lightened it up considerably. A complementary bronze/gold contract wall covering was used to provide a warm backdrop.
A lighting scheme to tackle the dull and dimly lit interior was paramount to the success of the project. Four bespoke feature pendant light fittings were fitted to the light wells in the ceiling. In addition subtle concealed coloured halo lighting was added to create a feature down the centre of the function room. Framed mirrors were fitted on the walls with decorative glass light fittings to add a touch of sparkle. Narrow beam reduced glare adjustable spotlights were installed to add impact and the addition of glass diffusers to existing recessed fluorescent lights all combined to provide a layered lighting approach giving interest and definition to the space. The lighting was all connected to a scene setter to control and set the mood for every event.
The new interior design and lighting scheme combined to make for a very warm and inviting reception and function room with many subtle layers of colour and light which comfortably caters for all events.
