Restaurant 50,
Limavady.

Area 2,800 sq. ft. Seats 89.

Brief:

Design a new purpose built restaurant on the site of a vacant, dilapidated 3 storey, mid terrace, neo-georgian town house.

Solution:

Design the exterior of the restaurant to match the original roof line, yet only create two storeys with the first floor having a double height space.

A compact bar area on the ground floor is complimented with clean contemporary lines and rich high backed built-in upholstered seating.

A glass and stainless steel staircase leads up to the impressive first floor dining room.
Light floods in from double height windows to the front and circular windows to the rear in addition a very large silver gilded mirror reflects light within the room.
A silver pendant light with a 2 mt. drop is a central feature.

A deep purple colour scheme is used throughout with lime green and plum velvet upholstered furniture on the ground floor along with all cream furniture in the upper area.
A very subtle and focused lighting scheme helps to create a very rich and intimate atmosphere for customers.
