Brief:
Ground floor conversion of an old shirt factory into a restaurant attached to the new Ebrington Theatre.
Solution:
Working with the original cast iron column layout within the space an open bar area was formed with a dividing back bar wall with glazed apertures allowing views into restaurant.
Suspended ceiling trays to contain all services and lighting were used as the original ceiling had to remain intact.
A strong blue accent colour on the dividing wall is offset with cream coloured walls elsewhere. A palate with red, orange and purple upholstered fixed seating with sandblasted green glass dividers are used to form the seating within the restaurant area.
The use of concealed coloured uplighting along with pendant and recessed downlights adds greatly to the overall ambience. |
