Brief to Mc Donnell Design, Interior Designers.
Break through to incorporate Bar 7 with adjoining Shenanigans restaurant to provide good food in a comfortable bar with a live music offer all “under the one roof” thereby fully utilising the space during trading hours.
Rework the external site access and form a new central entrance. Break through the party wall to open up the space at the rear of both premises and extend the bar to front onto both spaces with a centrally located stage.
The Orient and Singapore in particular influenced the interior style. The original Brunswick bar is the focal point. Dark mahogany wall panelling and furniture set against cream and biscuit coloured walls provide the backdrop with tan and burgundy deep buttoned leather upholstery.
Timber slatted blinds to windows and an internal screen divider in the bar, oriental style light fittings, palm plants and subtle mood enhancing lighting scheme complete the look.
A firm favourite on the north coast.
